Tighe has been a member of the PGA since 2003 and attended Gonzaga University. Tighe is a native of Sonora where he served as an assistant professional at Mountain Springs GC and also at Saddle Creek Resort. Tighe was also the Head Golf Professional at Sunnyside Country Club in Fresno.
Tighe has been a competitive player in the Northern California PGA Section since becoming a member of the PGA. Tighe continues his pursuit of competitive golf and growing his knowledge in teaching the game. As a competitive professional player, Tighe uses his knowledge and playing skills to help students with their growth in total game development.
Tighe’s teaching appeals to players of all ages and abilities whether they are men, women, or juniors. His teachings are based on the theory that EVERYONE has a golfer inside them. Lessons are customized to each individual keeping with the approach that it will be both fun and a welcoming learning environment.
